I think Neil does a good job keeping the focus on struming and keeping in time. He dosen't take it for granted with any of his songs. Gary

I think it would be great to throw a Richie Havens song in, if only as a campfire or a short to learn about how he used different tunings and strums. Gary

What a great idea. YOu could certainly learn a great deal about strumming from Richie Havens. My interpretation of what he did was that he speeded up the strumming and slowed the vocals. That is just how it appeared to me.

I haven't listened to any of his music in quite awhile but since joining TG I know I'll listen with a whole different focus. It would be great to see a video of him playing, like Richie Havens Live or something. Gary
