Tiger Direct is a great place to buy new and refurbished desktops and laptops.

Another thing...I believe the behind the scenes folks recommended using the Firefox browser (free download). This is what I use and have not had problems.

Hi fryaby

As for browsing the web use Firefox
There is a reason the admin recommend it
Its faster then I.E. Easy to use and easy to find all the plugins
To view TG.
As for whats on screen and being able to see every thing, what is your resulotion? Right click an empty patch of desktop select properties,
Then tab for Settings, If you can use 1280 by 1024 the better,
If not use the highhest setting possible, hopefully that will give you some more screen space.

I see Dennis has sorted the Group Q's

Hope this helps

I wouldn't recommend removing Internet Explorer (IE), although switching to FireFox (FF) is a smart move. There are some pages that do not display and/or operate properly in FF, for example Microsoft.com, which you will probably need at some point.

You can't remove Explorer. Your windows will crash. It's part of windows and needs to be on your machine even if you never use it.
