Hello, does anyone have a list of all the lessons on the site with double drop d tuning? I really like the tuning and have left one of my guitars tuned this way. I've been working on Ohio, the Loner and Down by the River but would like some more. Just thought I'd ask before I methodically open every song on the site.

I think you probably already have them all.

Maybe Cinnamon Girl by Neil Young as well.

I don't think there will be any others apart from Neil young songs

I use this tuning for slide guitar it is a quick change from Standard plus it works still with Standard. Lots of fun for sure Niel Young had fun with it.

This is probably NOT what you are looking for, but Dear Prudence is Drop D, but not double drop D.

Well Double drop D can be changed to Open G to play better slide or Rolling Stones tunes. Double Drop D is great for its dark edges

If you like these sorts of tuning then you might like 'Iris' by Goo Goo Dolls

The tuning is D D D D D B 3rd and 4th strings are an octave lower than the 1st and 2nd. Then the 5th is an octave lower again with the 6th tuned way down to B!!

I dont' know what you would call this tuning - i just call it Super Drop D!!

anyway here's the song if you dont know it. It's a lovely song to play :)

Hi Matt, one of Niel's recent additions in double drop D is "Blackwater" by Doobie Brothers a nice fingerpicking front porch shade on hot sunny day kind of tune. -Dave.
