Actually, it was the very first single i ever bought! But a fan, not really, just this one song, wich i play every now and then, still a gréat great song!

My FAVORITE album by the Kinks: "Misfits", an important part of my soundtrack to 1978-79.
Start to finish, a Masterpiece ... I can't put my finger on why it's still so underrated, it's not like it sounds that dated.
The Kinks - Live Life (from the album "Misfits")
The Kinks - A Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy (from the album "Misfits")

Misfits was also my introduction to The Kinks. 1979/80 was my senior year in highschool and I remember well driving around in the Seattle rain in my parents' big black '73 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with the following rocking on the 8-track:
- Kinks, Misfits
- Rolling Stones, Some Girls
- Neil Young, Live Rust
- Supertramp, Breakfast in America
- ELP, Brain Salad Surgery
- Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here
- Led Zeppelin, In Through the Out Door
- Bob Dylan, Street Legal
- CSN, CSN
- Elvis Costello, This Year's Model
Misfits definitely got the most attention when I was alone, but was also definitely the least favored by friends who hitched a ride. Listening to it now, I think it has weathered the years much better than anything else in that library.
