i've got a good idea. How about this as an additional teaching tool:

TG decide what their next song lesson is going to be. A few weeks before loading it onto the site, there is a short video of Neil discussing the theory, telling us what key(s) is(are) used. We can spend the interim period listening to and trying to work out how to play it, based on that information, and then test how close we came against the actual lesson?

It would probably be too complicated for anything but strumming songs at first, but it could help us aspiring Jimis get into the habit of transcribing for ourselves and developing our ear?

The ability to transcribe songs is the holy grail for me, but I am nowhwere close to that skill yet. Your suggestion makes sense to me, and I would give it a shot if your idea comes to pass.

That sounds good to me. I think that having and understanding the theory would be of benefit for everyone.
