Hey Sam, for what its worth I thought it was an excellent suggestion and that impression is supported by Neil (and others) giving a really quite detailed response. No losers there my friend, please don't stop offering ideas!

Hi Sam, What you propose happens in an ad hoc way and I agree also with Neil about being reluctant to hand over the reins as much as that, Neil would lose quality assurance to a degree and might end up having to unteach bad habits that could be passed on.

So although the concept has merit I think don't change or formalize what we already have with the help dished out on the forum. Should we get it wrong Neil can jump in and redirect things and even delete incorrect posts. There would only be handful of folks here who could possibly take on the role proposed; but at present its not broke so no need to fix it. Keep the ideas coming though always good to get fresh views
