Bassman Jerry started working on Across the Universe. After listening to a few different versions, we noticed that the lyrics we were hearing didn't match those in the TG lesson notes. This is what we are hearing, I have highlighted my corrections:

Verse 1
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me

Chorus
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Verse 2
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe

Verse 3
Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing through my open ears
Inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
And calls me on and on across the universe

I listened to three different versions of The Beatles and they all seem to be the same. Let me know if any of you hear it differently.

Good call. You are correct with those. We must have had a Quality Control problem in the early days, when that lesson was done. Personnel has been reprimanded, fired, and replaced with the new, improved version. Thanks for the fix!

Actually, the words that were there flowed and worked quite well. On par or maybe even better than Lennon's. I thought there was another version out there that I didn't know about.
