The bass line is pretty easy to pick out, but I struggle with the notes around the base line. If my ear was better, it would certainly be easier to tell of it was indeed, Open C, or if it was just Dropped C..... Or, if it was standard tuning and just a bass playing along.....and then..... and if...... but what about...... :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Jeez....... It is a wonder I am able to dress myself in the morning..... :P

EDIT

Well, after messing around a bit tonight in Open C (tuned CGCGCE), I got a bit more of the rhythm pieced together in my head. I played the first G chord (G5 really) by placing my index finger on the2nd fret of the 4th string and my middle finger on the 2nd fret of the 2nd string. Playing only stings 5432 in a pattern like "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac. The C chord that comes next is played with the same pattern, only using the open C on the 6th string instead of the open G on the 5th....

Very simple start without any of the bass line hammer-ons that I hear, but it's a start. I am probably off by a mile.....

Now to try and get a feel for the Em and the D/F#...kind of fun...
