Hi Gang,

The recent thread about song selection has turned into a really cool thing and the TG team would like to develop this a little more. I moved the original thread and a similar one here and would like to offer some thoughts. Feel free to embed videos here of songs that might make good projects for the group to try to figure out. Folks can then weigh in with their thoughts or guesses. It would be better not to just blast out the answer, if you happen to know it, rather keep it to single observations, hints, or guesses.

We are working on setting up a system and place to upload video suggestions but hold off on that for a bit. I will let you if we can get a channel and uploader working to keep everything together and searchable. In the meantime, let's see where this goes.

Neil

Would you accept intros, riffs and Licks?

Ahhh!, Resurrecting the dormant IRLs. Sounds fine to me.

Cool! Not only are the IRL's often times the hallmark of a great song, but for me they are some of the best "stand alone" technique practices pieces I can do.

When I started this topic I never dreamed it would have attracted so much attention but I'm glad something good is coming out of it for everyone to learn and prosper!
Thanks Neil!

I'm not sure I understand the concept with respect many songs within one from topic thread.

So would it be a forum where many song suggestions would be discussed simultaneously.

If so would it be possible to filter the topic to reflect all posts with respect to a particular song.

:)

Hello Willem

Thanks.

:)

Edit

Just had a look.... I suppose it's easy enough to find all songs in the busking threads if you
click on the shortcut.

Is that what are referring too?

Neil Young.......................

Link:
Dead Man - Movie Theme - Long Version

Is it possible to adapt the whole theme to effect on the acoustic guitar only?
