As I slowly explore this guitar path and discover what I like the most and where I want to go with all this, rhythm guitar and especially blues-related themes are currently what I'm finding myself most drawn to.

In that vein I (of course) have started browsing the lessons here for related material and right now I'm digging the subject lesson in a huge way. Huge.

Neil's discussion about the way the chords interplay with each other, the tension and resolution and how the dominant works with the tonic: the perfect amount of theory and practical application. I'm blown away by how helpful this stuff is for me right now.

Mad props, indeed. Look for some of this to start showing up in my makin' music and busking posts. :side:
