I have recently purchased the Chord Solo 1 Package and wonder if anyone can suggest say 10 songs from the lesson list that can be used to continue the learning process.

They need to be on the easy side. I expect (hope) that after mastering 10 songs one should be able to work out suitable songs after that.

Thanks

Greg

Hi Greg,
there's a good variety of chord solo lessons, some complete, some leaving you to flesh out the bare bones.

Here Comes the Sun is a complete arrangement for fingerstyle: http://www.totallyguitars.com/target-so ... king-.html

Wild Horses is a complete lesson with full explanation for flat-picking: http://www.totallyguitars.com/target-so ... .html#song

Hallelujah gives you an explanation of how the play-through was created and work out for yourself how it's played: http://www.totallyguitars.com/target-so ... cohen.html

Wish You Were Here is tough to play exactly like the play-through but the verses and chorus are pretty easy: http://www.totallyguitars.com/target-so ... floyd.html

While My Guitar Gently Weeps give you the bare bones to work on yourself, and encourages you to experiment and improvise; it's one of the best lessons here IMO: http://www.totallyguitars.com/target-so ... ement.html

Halfway through the conclusion of the Strawberry Fields lesson Neil plays an intro, verse, and chorus as a chord melody. It's easy to follow and would be worth doing :http://www.totallyguitars.com/target-so ... tar-lesson

If you wanted to choose a song that has a basic chord progression and a simple melody to work out entirely on your own then here are a couple of suggestions:

Good luck,

Neil Young- Like a Hurricane is a fun song to pick out the melody along with the chords

Thanks Dean and Jim for those great song suggestions.

They should keep me amused for a while.
