It is with great pleasure that I am able to introduce our latest Faculty member Suzanne Weller..

Suzanne will be patrolling this section of the forum from time to time and be helping TG in all things theory..

We love that she is here, please make her feel welcome ..Here is a short Bio to give you a short overview..once again make here feel welcome..

Suzanne has a B.A. in Music Performance from San Jose State University, an A.A. from Foothill College and a Certificate of Achievement in Music Technology. She has taught classroom music in Santa Cruz and San Jose areas in addition to private music lessons in the San Francisco bay area. Suzanne co-authored "Musicreation" an interactive music theory book. She currently teaches Music Technology, Recording Arts as well as Music and Media studies at Foothill College. As a performer, Suzanne plays Classical, Celtic and Jazz but has also performed/recorded all sorts of other music including mariachi, reggae and hard rock! She has performed and recorded with major symphonies (San Jose Symphony, San Jose Ballet Orchestra), toured with Khadra, an international folk music and dance group and Mantis, a Celtic rock band, to name a few. She has also played numerous solo recitals, in pit orchestras for shows and been entertainment for hundreds of weddings, receptions, parties from San Francisco to Carmel.
Suzanne has worked with Pro Tools since the early '90's and she has recorded, engineered and produced 4 of her own CDs. Suzanne hasWeller also composed and produced music for commercials for GRL Computing in San Luis Obispo, ambient music for meditation CDs, back-up tracks for videos and she is currently producing recording and arranging music for "Soft Pause" a vocal group. Suzanne has worked for 9 years as studio assistant to Joe Weed at Highland Studio in Los Gatos for various audio and video projects. Suzanne plays the flute as her main instrument, and can also play, guitar, piano, Celtic harp, assorted whistles, recorders and ethnic flutes.
