Mark- Slack tuning, also known by it's more familiar name Slack Key, is the backbone of that wonderful, melodic Hawaiian guitar music. There are many tunings associated with the term "slack key" but my friend Chas is correct that Open G tuning is by far the most popular.

Neil's playing partner this weekend, Keola Beamer, is considered a master of slack key and of bringing this music to us uninitated haoles! I can't pronounce most of the songs but I love the sound!

Neil has promised to bring us some slack key either by having Keola do guest lessons or Neil can do it himself. I can't wait!

Cheers! :cheer:
