I was wondering if playing a steel string guitar in the classical position is wrong or is there some reason i shouldn't do it. I started playing that way in the beginning and it seems more comfortable. I am still a beginner. Thanks Jim

Willem is right. And also, classical position is actually easier to get good hand position with.

When I first started playing my electric that is the way I was taught to hold it. Go with what works for you.
