I'm new to this site, but all the song notes I have seen are in tab form.

Am I the only one who would like to see both the tablature and the Music notation? I find it is helpful to learn the notes on the fretboard by reading the music notation. It seems to me that if you know the notes on the fretboard and the scale you are in, you don't have to memorize patterns and it would be a lot easier to improvise. B)

If you have Guitar Pro, then you get both in the GP Files that TG posts on the lessons. Tab and Standard Notation.
And if you have GP 6 then you also get the rhythm slashes as an option on the score.

Thudfan- In general, standard musical notation is not provided on any songs at TG or TARGET. It's probably because TAB has become so standard that most guitarists never learn standard notation. That's a shame because there is a lot of (or at least some) info available that doesn't show up in tab.

But Andy's advice is the best since all TARGET songs are now provided for Guitar Pro. That makes it easy to get the score in either notation!

Cood luck and cheers! :cheer:
