When I fiirst watched this video lesson it took a while for it to sink in.

I have added a second document to the first post.
It's written as TGNeil explains it in the video.

If you find any errors in either documents, please let me know as I would not want to upload inaccurate documents.

As beginners we are all confronted with information like this from one source or another and it can be a bit overwhelming. For some(like me) it was, especially since I have no background in the understanding of musical language ... such as notes, scales, chords and keys, etc. and then how to apply it to guitar.

Don't get discouraged if at first you don't understand, take it with a grain of salt, and as you progress information like this will make sense. Understanding your guitars fretboard of where notes can be found to make music is like understanding your keyboard for typing (mmm?? why is the keyboard laid out like that?? lol )

Thanks for posting thereshopeyet! ...good info that needs to be addressed and understood, helping us all to understand our options when playing ...and how and why Neil flies all over the fretboard making melodious tunes.

...but the bottom line someday I wanna play like Neil
... and sing like neverfoundthetime B)

Good job on the notes. Just an added comment . . . . if you are a left handed player (not me but, maybe someone like Jimi Hendrix), you could hold the diagram up to a mirror to help visualize.
