Since you asked......it's ring in this case. Wring means to twist say a wet towel, to get water out of it. Not in any way musical :) Not trying to be rude just helpful :) I realise English is a second language to you. Hope this helps.

That at makes a lot of sense as to why you don't want to hear the A.

Yeah, it is my absolute favorite S&G song as well.

Ive never been able to do that thumb wrap thing. Its much easier (to me anyway) to play the bass notes with 3rd or 4th finger.
