i think when you try to do cover you can't go away to much from the originial even if you have a great voice you can't do everything, covering NY songs is very difficult ''cos the high melody's,,some of his songs you can do at the campfire 'cos everybody sings along but soloing well take first some pills and after it extinguish your throat..

Usually Jewel could sing anything and I would be glued to it, but this one is best left for Neil. It almost sounded like a love song at first? On the other hand I though the guitar playing was great.

Well I Loved it.

Yeah me, standing out from the crowd. She did take it a little over the top with that cry type chorus in the middle, but thats just her take on it. If I lost a close friend to that type of death, I'd be crying too.

Since quite of few of us, try to cover someone else here on this site, and most of the time do a pretty good job considering we are a bunch of amatures, I'm supprised to see the sharp criticism here. But, to each his/her own.

I watched about twenty seconds of this and then came back to listen again. Got through two verses the second time. I quite like Jewel, but this doesn't really work for me. Actually, I'd say it is about the worst cover I've ever seen from a professional musician.

By the way, did anyone else hear about Britney's plans to do a Dylan tribute album?
