Do you like the vocals in this song the way they are done????

I don't want to know if you think this is done better than the original.Just do you like the way it is song???

SWING an a miss...STRIKE ONE! She actually has a good voice, but this was a little painful to listen to for me. If it is possible to 'over-sing' a song, she did.

I liiked most of it, she did capture the drift of the song IMHO, had she cut back the high loud notes a bit then it would have been much better. Hey its her cover and her guitar playing wasn't that bad either. And she did mention she took the mans advice!

Definitely, it's a little wierd for me.
During some parts of the song, specially in the beginning, it seems to me that the singing and the playing don't fit, they express diferent feelings.

Doesn't work for me Kev. I was in so much pain I was almost going to ring 911....then I realised that I'm in Australia and that wouldn't work so I hit stop and hummed the first tune that came into my head in order to erase that from my memory banks. That didn't work either and now I curse that horrible cover. The only think that could be worse is that devil woman of Chris' Amy whatever doing a cover of it as well.

No, I did not like that performance at all. If she toned it waaaay down, it would me much more tolerable. As it was, I foundi it almost un-watchable.

I'm with Tony and Jay. I couldn't listen/watch the entire thing. Way too painful for me....

Swimming against the tide here... and I "get" the the comments, especially Bill's take on it being over-done.... but I like it and I like Jewel's voice. I think if we'd never heard the original we'd be kinder to this version.

I feel that she was trying another voice without understanding the song.
