Fundamentals II Major Scales IV Chapter 6
Can anyone let me know if I have understood the Major Scale Pattern lesson correctly?

Are the Patterns I created for Patterns 6 and 7 what Neil was refering too?
They are both the same only they start on a different scale degree and use the open strings.

Also they are the only other patterns with a scale degree positioned on the 6th string other than to play them is beyond the 12th fret.

Please Advise.

Dermot,
They seemed right to me, but if you start playing the 7th pattern with your index finger on a F# note, you avoid open strings.

It took me a while to work out Half Steps and Whole Steps when
going across adjacent strings, Low E to High E

Anyway after watching Neil's Video Lessons, I now understand and I have written down how
I remember it for anyone else struggling to figure it out.

Hopefully someone finds it helpful.
