Bear- I DID give it up! I filmed this before I gave up trying to get the song right! But I will come back to it, maybe in a week or so. Part of what I love about this song is the rhythm of it, and how not all the notes are emphasized equally. It was something I strove to recreate but just couldn't quite get. It's a song I'll probably work on forever and never be totally happy with. Luckily, it's such a beautiful song that I don't think I'll get bored of it, either.

No, don't slow down now!! You are so close to having this song nailed! Maybe tap your foot and every time your foot hits, emphasize the note. It's almost that simple!! :cheer:

I don't know, Bear. You didn't see me when I was on the verge of smashing my Taylor out of frustration. No, all joking aside, I promise to stick with it. I'm smart enough to know that I should listen to those who know more than me :)

Whoa that's bad news Suzi! Perhaps go out and get yourself a Cole Clark that you can smash if that feeling strikes again. :woohoo:

First Class all the way Suzi! It's hard to believe you have only worked on that song for such a short time. Oh, and it's easy to see where that little cutie of a daughter of yours gets her good looks from....so you are not ugly and you are not fat! lolol I also really liked the sound of that guitar.
Thanks for posting your video.

Suz

really good job. after all the fuss, i wasn't even expecting to be able to make out what song it was meant to be - but i think you produced a very nice version.

i've been thinking about making this my first video post - maybe at the week end.

prepare to be karma-lised.....
