Hi TG Family,

After about 30 years of very little activity on my guitar, Neil has revived these old fingers of mine and I dusted off the old cob webs and started playing again. Yes, I have a great baseball grip on the neck and that seams to be the hardest thing to change after all these years. I will keep working on it.

For now I want to get myself out there and take advantage of your feedback on how you think these old fingers are doing. Don't be too hard on me, I'll be 60 next year. I enjoy the new learning process and the way Neil breaks down the songs. I wish I had had a teacher like him when I first picked up the guitar 50 years ago. Anyway--------I find you CAN teach an old dog new tricks, you just watch me. With your help, I think I can be as good as new. Well, maybe not new, but at least better then I was before TG!!

Thanks,

Terry

Well done Terry,

I thought I was listening to the Beatles :) I hope I can play that well someday.

Jim

Great job Terry! You hit a home run!
I have the same grip problem but I'm working on it. You are already there, just keep plugging away and I bet you will be pro level very soon.

Excellent Terry!
Very fluid and smooth- and you looked like you enjoyed playing it as well!

Karma for you (while we're still able to use it!)

Great job Terry. Thank you for posting your video and welcome to the "Old Farts Forum" on TG. :)
Slow down the tempo a little, (We are hoping to a TG metronome soon, that will help you) and you will be perfect on that song.
Just stay after it with the left hand position, it will come with practice and it will begin to feel natural for you.

Thanks again Terry

Bill
