Great job on a difficult song.

I think I know what you are saying about playing to the video camera. My heart was thumping the first time I did it. Suddenly the pressure is on.

You guys are so right. I've been trying to record me doing a song for a week now and I keep messing up when the camera is on.

I spent 6 hours trying to record 3 minutes and have been rehersing the song for 2 weeks. The first time is certainly more difficult.

I have a lot of respect for the people giving shows in front of people and specially to Neil who is on the camera all the time and still giving a perfect rendering of the songs.

Great job, Marc. I haven't even looked at that lesson yet- but I will for sure after watching your video! I'll leave it to Neil to give you pointers-- to me, you're close to owning that song.

BTW- I almost bought a similar guitar to yours. Is that an APX 500?

Buffalo Joe uses one in his videos.

Thanks Al, it is an APX 900 same as Anton I think. I used that Flip recorder and the sound rendering is not that great (do not pick up much bass). Also the file for this in MP4 giving 230 Mb ( 3minutes) and it took 45 minutes to upload on Youtube.

I will return it and try the Kodak ZI8 which you can install a directional microphone. Of course it is not available now but supposed to be release in September. Also it seems that you have a choice of format for a smaller file. It sounds quite better than the Flip on the internet demos given on some critics corner. Video quality looks similar between both.

I was going to comment on your video quality. The video quality was really good. It's too bad about the Flip and not being able to attach an external mic. Are there menu settings to increase the audio quality in general?

Re. file size- 230meg/45 minutes seems about right for a high speed connection. That was a long piece you posted.

btw- karma was from me!

I do agree I'm a lot better when the camera's off too- but A WEEK?? Land the plane, Andy! Just upload it with mistakes or you'll never do it.
