Chris--that was great. It brought back some good memories of when I use to play that song as well. It would be nice to see it in TG some day. Good playing and singing. Keep up the good work. B)

Geez Chris, you did such a nice job I think I'm going to quit playing it! Excellent Travis picking. Beautiful song and you did Gordie proud!

Cheers! :cheer:

My main main Chris, great job! That's not an easy song to sing (I imagine) and you did a great job of it. Love your videos and always look forward to your next one.

Best regards mate,

Tony

Thanks Bear and Tony! Don't stop playing it Rick, go for it, such a great song to play.
You know you just have to stand on that stage one day, alone with guitar... ;-)

WOW Chris!!! I am sure glad you "Found The Time", it would have been terrible to waste your obvious talent. I still see you as the next "Swiss Idol".:)

Thank you for posting your video.

Great work Chris. It definitely would be a little more powerful at a slightly slower speed, as everybody has suggested but I know the camera always wakes a few demons.

Gordon is one of my all time favorite songwriters (except for Sundown) and I will get to some of his tunes in good time, probably starting with this one. My short list of other favorites-

Rosanna
Walls
Affair On 8th Ave.
The Circle Is Small
Sit Down Young Stranger
Bitter Green
Softly
Song For A Winter's Night
Did She Mention My Name
Does Your Mother Know
Miguel
Ordinary Man
Carefree Highway
Now And Then
Race Among The Ruins
I'm Not Supposed To Care
If Children Had Wings
Ghosts Of Cape Horn

All songs I used to play!

Neil
