Found my guitar today Chas, but it's not yet bought might not be for quite a while... It's a Lakewood D18CP with built in pick ups and case for a crisp CHF 3'000.00 which is the same as $3'000.00.
Unless something better and cheaper comes along .

Chris with your discerning taste I am sure the Lakewood will sound really good, you'll be able to play like Sunga.

Don't wait for cheaper or better if you do that you'll never buy anything.

I'll spend by 800th post to say: Yeah Andy, as long as it's nice and laud, it's fine for me! . Really does have a great projection acoustically and excellent electronics.

Chas it's not a question of choosing to wait... it's do I want to pay the rent of just buy a great guitar... I know easy choice.... but I resisted it!!
