These update videos are a really good idea.

Can definately see a lot of improvement.
The strumming part is down now and all the parts are there.

These update videos can be used as encouragement when you think that progress is slow. Just need to watch the two videos back to back to see what can be done in a couple of months.

and here's another vote for bringing back the cute kid

Mark,
Speaking of encouragement, I think I can safely say for everyone that your videos are particularly encouraging as your playing is what many of us aspire to. Would love to see another when you have the time.

That was a great job on the song! You can really hear that your timing is good during the interlude. The bass notes are like metronome. the ending is sweet too. I have to get to work and get that part down too. Once again, nice job. Beaker.

Nice performance. The first parts especially were right on the money. I would say you just about have this one down.

Nice job, Jay. You are most certainly improving. You made this song look pretty easy in this video.

Did you give up on classic position?

No. I most certainly did not. I am still trying various positions, and find that I often come back to the classical position. Sometimes I think it looks a little goofy, but it certainly keeps the guitar from moving around.

Noticed too that you have the guitar over the right knee Jay. I can't play at all with it there... need it over the left and pressed to my chest to play. Mark plays in the position you show too... and does a really good job of it!
