Im a beginner in playing and singing,i hope there are friends the can help me to do that wricht.

Anton,
That was absolutely wonderful. I loved your voice and the sound of the song. Something about the way you played and sang reminded me of my absolute favorite Russian bard, Vladimir Vysotsky. He is hugely respected in Russia and I adore his voice:
It is so nice to hear something in Dutch, too. The only Dutch song I know is "Over de Muur" by Klein Orkest.

This is a humble correction about the translation to Ramses Shaffie's
song "Laat Me"
I beg to differ with Temo's version of the lyrics ... I appreciate your effort Temo, but there must be some misunderstanding. :side:
Can we maybe clear this up? Here is what I've found about the song:
The song is sometimes identified by the beginning of the chorus, which is simply "Vivre", in this context meaning "to live", or "let me live".
The actual title is "Ma dernière volonté", or "My Final Wish",
written by Sylvain Lebel and popularized by Serge Reggiani (in French).
My translation of the lyrics is not perfect, but I think the song's meaning is sufficiently intact.
I who have lived without scruples
should die without regrets
I've had my fill of sunsets
I shouldn't cry for "more"
I a pagan, a poor devil,
Who thought Satan was a weakling
I give up my soul with head bowed low
As death pulls me by the hair
To live, to live
Even without sunlight, even without summer
To live, to live
That is my final wish
Tell me that the Good Lord exists
That he has a beard and hands
That Saint Peter is the good fellow
they say he is in books
Tell me that angels have wings
Tell me that chickens have teeth
That I will play bass fiddle
Up there, all dressed in white
To live, to live
Even without a home, even without shoes
To live, to live,
That is my final wish
I've always used coarse language
And I can hear my friends
call out: "traitor, imbecile,
he dies like a vulgar christian".
May they forgive me if I am cowardly
I like a laugh as much as the next person
but when you're in my situation
you get to feel pretty old.
I will not forget my friends
Those I have loved I will always love.
I should know where they live
but I have lost their last letter.
Surely we'll meet again
perhaps today, perhaps next year
I'll kiss and greet them
and all will be well.
To live, to live
Let me do it in my own way
Even lame, even halfway
To live, to live
I've always done things my way
I see a dark light
As Father Hugo said
I who don't know history
lack understanding about it.
No, I really don't have the strength
to make a clever word-play
I leave by the smaller door
My "fear-ometer" is at zero
To live, to live
When it's time to go, you have to go
To live, to live
Mister Saint Peter, be generous
To live, to live
Even without sunlight, even without summer
To live, to live
That is my final wish
