Chris, Alessandra is a beautiful young lady with a great voice. You two are great together. I look forward to your next duet post with her. I have only watched the first one 5 times so far. BRAVO Alessandra. BRAVO Chris. Thank you for posting your video.

Wow Chris! I'm totally impressed. You two sound great. I have a 12 year old daughter as well, I think I had better get off the forum and get to work! ;)
Thanks for inspiring me!

Many thanks Bill, Ale will be pleased to read that, but really, only 5 times! ;-) Thanks.
Craig, many thanks and I hope you persuasive powers are good.... might need them! I don't need to persuade Ale to sing, just to sing with ME and ON CAMERA! ;-)

Hi Chris, What a pretty song. It was lovely to see you and your daughter sing it together. By the way, was the camcorder a Kodak Zi8? I have been looking at that brand lately to purchase. The video looked really good. Let me know...

Sorry to butt in on a question you asked Chris, but I thought you might want to know that I shot my video of "Junk" with a Kodak Zi8. I honestly couldn't be happier with the camera -- it's simple to operate and perfect for what I need it to do.

Yep, it's the Kodak. Great camera. Watch out that you buy a memory card with it... they don't make it obvious that the camera has no internal memorey (8 second of "test film!".

Lisa,

Chris is absolutely right: make sure you buy an SDHC card for the Kodak. I think the Flip uses internal memory.

I agonized over whether to get the Kodak or the Flip, since I was pretty sure both of them would have been great. I've seen amazing video shot with both cameras. What decided it for me was a single feature: a mic input jack. The Kodak has one, the Flip doesn't. Since I'm going to be singing in most of my videos, I figured an external mic would be pretty important. But if you don't intend to connect an external mic, either camera will be fine for you.
