I've never tried that version of Layla but is there anyway to intregrate some chords in there and then play the lead over them? This might let you carry the bass line while still playing the really cool lead.

Regardless, that was an impressive video! Congrats on your hard work and thanks for sharing it!

Cheers! :cheer:
Bear you could always do this version and add in MK's solo, cross between Sultans and Layla

I would think it would be very difficult to play the lead and chords simultaneously, maybe a New Year challenge for Neil?

Very solid. The only problem is that I can't get those Jim Croce songs out of my mind. Would love to learn those after I've gotten to know Alvin Lee a bit.

Kevin,
Great song! You played it well, the verses were the best played part. However, I would echo what BigBear said about losing the way a bit with the lengthy lead, also the start seemed a little shakey. Not much but just a little bit. Overall great song and performance, Ambitious to learn all of those leads! Congrats! Beaker.

tovo,Big Bear, beaker.Thank you guys for the advice. That's why I do these post.Play with more feeling?I think maybe I practice them to much and not just play them.(Sorry MATT dont like the word Practice)Maybe this is why he dont. The lead is long that's way i did it.Sorry Matt,to practice the leads. When I learned it thay used a backing track.Sounds better. And I will work on the temple going into it.Thanks

Kevin
