Number 3... Scarborough Fair

...still shaking...can you tell?

My bass notes are pretty whoosy (translation - pathetic, wimpy, quiet and hiding in the background) because I broke my great fingerpicking thumb nail completely off a couple of weeks ago....bowling accident - I know very silly - it must be the month for it. So I hope that they will sound strong agin when it grows back. I might post another video so you can see, make that hear, the difference.

Woo Hoo!! Thanks so much for the advice Neil. I'll definitely incorporate holding the G and practice until I get it down. Thanks again.

I still need to practice this more and get it back into shape properly, but this is already sounding nicer because I've incorporated Neil's advice about holding the G. Thanks again Neil!

Hi Michele,

I could really hear the difference between the first and second vids. I think you did a great job incorporating the changes Neil suggested.

Cheers! :cheer:

Incredible, Michele. Listening to how beautifully you played that makes me want to learn it, too.

What makes you decide whether or not to wear your glasses when you play?

Thanks Dennis. It is a great song to learn. I'd recommend it. Wearing or not wearing the glasses is not a decision. I don't need them to play, especially as I'm playing from memory. So I guess it was just a 'without' occasion.
