Good job Pete. A very nice steady rhythm. You should have joined the TG Players and their global rendition of "Heart of Gold". Thank you for posting your video.

Nice Pete. Could be improved with some hammer-ons but sounds cool as it is. By the way, it's certainly not to late for you to participate in the global project. You could upload this effort no problem. Most of the detail is in the thread on "A Long Distance Collaboration"...and I can PM you the other required detail. We are hoping to have all submissions by 15 Jan. Good effort on this one mate.

Pete,
On your D chord you are just doing all down strokes and Neils show it with down, down, up,down then to Em with the hammer on's. I know you said you did this before seeing Neils lesson so good job.

Keep em comin

Bob

Sounding good,
Nice guitar you have there

Suggestion: Watch the video for the D chord
Which strings are you hitting?
Maybe too many?

Hope this helps

Pete- another good job! Try to vary your timing to add emphasis and feeling to the song. Also, be really careful you don't play all six strings on your D chords. The E note is not in the D chord or scale so it sounds out of place. If you want to play all six strings, you have to wrap your thumb over the neck and fret the low F#.

Neil's lesson on this classic tune should be a big help! Thanks again for sharing and keep 'em coming!

Cheers! :cheer:
