Dog, this was a geat first post, excellent voice. On the guitar there does not seem to have any obvious flaws, just a bit of practice with the rhythm. Your bar chords sounds very clean

Well, I think that at around 1min 14sec the actual lyrics are not "duh duh da da", but then again, I've been wrong before :)

Seriously though, really entertaining post! It was music to my ears. Good choice for singing.

You should be receiving invitations to play at campfires worldwide soon enough, hopefully accompanied by plane tickets.

Dog,

1 day?? That was impressive. I really like America tunes and I thought you did a great job. Your singing was also.

Wow, I'm really impressed! I actually tried working on that song a few months back, but as barre chords are still not my friend I threw in the towel. Now that I've got your awesome video as a reference, I think I'll pick it back up this coming week. I kept getting bamboozled with the switching to the next chord on the up-stroke part of the rhythm. But seeing how you do it makes it more clear what I need to do.

Also, really great voice!

Dog:

Another great post! I thought you did a kick ass job with your singing while playing (something that is very hard for most of us to do). If you only put one day into this, one more will be all you need for a full rendition.....lol Sweet job!
