Hey Anton,
Enjoyed your singing.
The slow even tempo of your arpeggio version gives this song an eerie quality that suits it nicely. Listening to it back to back with the version you strummed earlier, I'd say the main thing this approach looses in comparison is some dynamic range. Aside from that -- and as a way you might address it -- the only suggestion I'd have is that you might experiment with some other picking patterns to see if you can't capture the almost reggae emphasis on beat 3.
As ever, I'm impressed with and appreciate your singing on these videos.
