Had some time today to practice this intro. I ran through it a few times here. Hopefully somewhere in this I got it right. I seem to get a little messed up the second run through when you go back up the neck for a few beats. Oh well. Its a work in progress. I tried it at a much slower pace when I first started and it didn't come well at all. For whatever reason I seem to do it a little better at this pace. As always I'm looking forward to you comments and suggestions.

Hi Mark, there is certainly no problem with the rhythm, it sounds very good. I would suggest to pay attention after the first bar where the same chord is hit 8 times, the following bar where the chord is being side down, we cannot hear the individual strum at each fret, like if you were just sliding down the chord bt not emphasizing at each fret. This is a section that I am still struggling with.

Mark,

Nice job on the intro. So now you've gone from Double Dropped D to DADDAD. You're really getting a GOOD workout on the tunings and it's paying off.

Marc - Thanks. Yes I have to be a bit more presise on that move down the neck. Maybe I need to slow it down again or just continue to practice. I can't think of another song where this happens (I'm sure there is). It is difficult.

Bob- Thank you. Yeah I've been in these tunings for a while now. I'll forget how to play in standard tuning. I need another guitar.

Nice job, Mark! You looked really comfortable moving up and down the neck. You've got a great start on this! Bet you can't wait for the next installment! Suzi

Thanks Suzi. Some momnets I get it some I completely screw it up. Most of the time I'm somewhere in between. Yeah I can't wait for the rest of the lesson.

Sounded great. I'm trying to resist the tempation to learn this intro and 4+20. So far, I've succeeded, but I keep singing 4+20 in my head, so no doubt I'll take this on before long. Nice job. As always, your strumming is smooth and clear.

Thanks Jay. I know the feeling. I've been practicing 4+20 and I'm getting there. A bit easier than Dear Prudence for my first fingerpicking song.

Thanks Snipe. It's a DN4. No electronics.
