Think you hit the nail on the head with the noise canceling web-cam,try using different software with it ??

Great job Buddy! You can really put over a song and you have a great voice, excellent story telling on a song I heard here for the first time. First class job!

You were spot on when you speculated what my audio problem was. I set the audio to manual and it made a big difference.
