I bought a new headset and mic to use with my crate amp. I am not sure how to set these things up so they sound right. Could you please listen to this quick video I did of this song and let me know what you think. Sorry for the Elvis hip action but I was standing up for this and once the beat takes over I forget what I am doing.

Thanks,

Bud

Bud you recording monster................ :) :)

Sounded great to my ears. Well done. Not sure how much the camera was picking up the voice in addittion to the mike. Was the mike directly connected to the camera? Either way it sounded just fine.

Elvis has left the building........

That was great Bud. My toe was tapping all the way through. Your voice reminded of Mark Knopfler's in that song, I liked it a lot.
No apologies. Remember, playing guitar means never having to say your sorry.
What head set did you get? I have a little Crate amp myself.

Rick Janet Jackson sure didn't come to my mind but I'm happy whenever she does. Bud sounds fine to me mate and you will get all of the girls at the dance with that shakin' action!

Again, good job, Buddy.

I like the idea of a headset mic. Please provide some details.

Thanks all for the virtual sound check. The headset is made by Yamaha and the model is Dynamic Headphones HPE-7M. They double as a mic and headset. If I want to play over the amp I just don't plug in the headphone chord. The headphones are kind of nice though because they keep my wife sane.

Thanks for the hip jokes, it is healthy to laugh at ourselves.

First of all Buddy, great job!

I am very interested in this setup. Since they double as headphones and a mic, do they have two lines coming from them? One for the headphones, and one for the mic? If so, where did you have your mic line plugged in? Camera, computer?

Nice!

MJ
