I need to look into the 12 bar blues concept a bit more. I've heard the term many times but just don't understand exactly what it involves. No doubt there's a lesson somewhere on TG about it, so will check it out. By the way, was your guitar in standard tuning?

Great stuff Kevin. I really hope that our electric guitar teacher will get into this as well. It's really the basis, not necessary the 12 bar, of all modern rock music. You could probably pick out a variation of this pattern in every song on Target.
