TOVO - Short solo

Hi Tony - really nice job, mate.

Soloing is one of my many weaknesses - but when I do try it, I like to play as much as I can without looking at my left hand. I feel that when I look at it I start thinking too much about the mechanics of what my fingers are doing and think less about listening to what I'm playing. And now that I've written that I've got no idea if it makes any sense!

I do know that when we change position on the neck it's nice to make sure we end up in the right place - but other than that, I think it helps not to look too much.

Maybe something to think about, but good going so far.

Hey Stuart. It makes perfect sense mate. I think you're right, you need to have a glance probably to make sure you end up at the right fret during big slides etc, but ideally you shouldn't spend too much time staring at your left hand. I still haven't gotten to that stage of fluency with it. It will come. Thanks for the comment laddie.
