Hi all, here is my first video test on Linus and Lucy. I have only only work on part A and B as it took me a long time to understand the syncopation and to do the thumb bass line and the melody. I have not really work on the jazz part (as you will see at the end). I am playing much slower mainly because I cannot play it as fast as the original, but I was practicing following Neil slow down version(mind you the speed is quite all over the place when I am on my own).

Comments welcome

Marc

Hi Anton,

Please try again a problem was fixed with too many characters causing YouTube to reject our vid's sometimes. The fix was done this morning. The process is different when a computer sends it to them versus a human.

Thanks

Could you be any cuter???? I loved this and am now more motivated to learn it. I get intimidated when Neil plays it, but it sounds really good slowed down. Thanks much.... that pretty red guitar of yours sure does sound good. Are you amplified in your video? Izzy

Thanks Izzy, yes I do play/record with amplification ( I assume you are not talking about my waist here ;) ) I have this little 15 watt amp that I used because the guitar small body does not have much power, but when amplified sound as good as a regular body.

Marc,

That is great progress for a song of that level of difficulty. You've obviously been working hard. I can not provide any advice, I haven't even looked at it yet.

It's very recognisable regardless of the speed. Speed it up when you can do it in your sleep right..?..

Great work.

Very cool, Marc. You did a great job with this song. It's still on my list of 'songs for the future' and I think you moved it up that list a few notches. Thanks.

Marc,
Terrific, thanks for posting that. BTW, sorry for not getting back to you sooner about our conversation. I'll get back to you via PM.
