Very nicely done. I like the way you use that thumb pick.

Hey TG gang,
Thanks for watching the song that I have been working on. I am glad that most of you liked it and I really appreciate your words of encouragement! I hope to see someone else trying to use a thumb pick soon! It is a very fun style to play!

Bob, when I said it was my 2nd take, I mean't video take, actually I have been slowly chipping away at this song for over a month. It has been one of my challenge songs. This has been my 1st experience with the thumb pick so that is what has been particularly challenging for me to learn this whole new style.

Marc, you mentioned about remembering the notes.... actually, a bunch of the riff in this are really similar to each other so it is not actually as much to remember as it looks.

Willem, yeah man! I am really inspired by Big Bill Broonzy's style as well! All the old blues players were really something!

Keep on strumming everyone! Beaker.

Paging Mister Clapton ... Mister Eric Clapton. Please report to security -- your replacement has arrived.

Beak,

Fantastic, dude! I loved every bluesy, bent, hammered note. Great job.

Beaker,
Wow man, that was totally impressive. You look like you've been using a thumb pick for years. Great job, I really enjoyed that.

Hmmm ... the perfect gift for the person that already has everything: a thumb pick!

Or also the poor man's answer to what is know around TG as "G.A.S." (Guitar Aquisition Syndrome). You can accumulate a collection of many thumbpicks, and you won't need to move into a bigger home in order to have room to hang them on your wall.

Beaker, your video sent me off to Neil's lesson, which I had not yet seen.

Inspiring, you seem to be having a real good time at it, too :)

Wow Beaker that was something special!!! Fingers flying all over the fretbord, right hand slapping all those strings. That was a whirlwind of talent there. Great Job!!!! I must say I don't know how you do all that lead work with your index finger on the up stroke. Amazing!!!
