Chef, nice job on blackbird. Definately a role model for all of use using that metronome. Onward and upward! Keep on strumming.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. Yes, the metronome IS my friend! It was difficult for me to get into using one at first, but I found the more I used it, the more it has helped me. I've also noticed that my sense of timing and rhythm has dramatically improved because I use a metronome on a regular basis.

Congratulations ChefRusso.
It was very very solid. Your right hand playing was just perfect.
You did remind me Neil's advice about the correct approach to learn songs.
Thank you, it was a real pleasure to watch.

Slow & steady wins the race, Christian. That was really well done and we can all rap our own knuckles that we don't use a metronome regularly.

One strange thing I noticed technically--
Your video seems in-sync at the beginning, and at the end. But it's out-of-sync in the middle for some reason. I've never seen that before.

Actually, that was the fault of the webcam I was using and it was driving me nuts. I've since used the video function on my digital camera and it's come out much better, without any out-of-sync issues. I think something gets lost when the webcam renders the recorded video into a file. Anyway, subsequent videos won't have that problem.

Very nice Christian, you've got the 'recipe' spot on mate, metronome, guitar position , hand positions all good, inspirational to those of us that slack off by not using the nome enough

Very nice playing!!! Great metronome work. I really should use more of that myself. I quite enjoyed that. Well done.
