I meant also to mention a couple of the things I find particularly challenging about this song:
- fretting the partial barre chords in the arpeggiated section (E7-9/Bb7) so that all of the strings ring clear with no muting (worked okay in this take, but still give me trouble);
- coming in on the right beat in the solo passages (and even remembering what the right beat is since it varies from passage to passage);
- the little bass run at the end of the 4/4 Am section. I think this has slightly different timing when it's repeated, but I haven't quite figured out the difference. I'm playing it now with alternating index and ring fingers (as opposed to all thumbs, as I'd first tried) in hope that this will help.
