Hello again everyone

Here's one from Paul Simon's first solo album (my favorite by album of his - showcases his acoustic talents in every song).

Thanks for looking

Jeff

Hey Jeff,

I used to think I knew a few songs before I came here, but there are so many I've never heard and this is one. No tech advice, I enjoyed watching and listening.

Cheers, thanks for the look.

Jeff,
Nice post. I'm not familiar with this particular song, but thought you did a nice job. The technique of using the pick while plucking with your middle and ring fingers is something I've never tried, but has sparked my curiosity. Thanks for sharing with us.

Nice job, Jeff!
Apparently another Paul Simon fan. I haven't heard that song in several years. Brings to mind "Rhymin' Simon" and other early works. Thanks for posting it.

Great job, Jeff. Like Jerry, I had not heard that song in a LONG time. Yep, I'm another Paul Simon fan. One tip for you, on the G chord, if you will play it like Neil teaches using your middle, ring, and little finger, it will make the other chord transitions a little smoother. Thanks for posting your video.

I also like the bass slides that Paul does in this Live version.

I know the song but did not recognize the title. Interesting that Mr. Simon plays that as a fingerstyle song, yet you prefer the hybrid picking technique, which I would think would be a more difficult way to play the song. I have not yet forayed into the land of hybrid picking. I'm not even sure if Neil has a lesson on that technique. I suspect that he does, but I haven't stumbled across it yet.

I thought you played it well. Just wondering if you are flicking the high e string with your finger while picking? Thanks for sharing
