What did Bill say? Smooth as butter! You just seem in the zone when you're playing this song. Could totally see you playing it in a coffee house somewhere. The picking/strumming doesn't look easy either, especially while singing!

Many thanks for listening Anton! That was released in 1976 and what a hit it was. It was THE sound of that summer for me along with Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty. These two have remained absolute favourites of mine. Interestingly it was engineered by Alan Parsons who produce the sound for Pink Floyd and then became successful in his own right.
Thanks Damian! You could play that to your girl friends . Yeah, I'm always a tad too fast when I play. The only time it pays off is with something like Story in Your Eyes which is really fast so it helps me keep up!
