For some reason, I've never been willing to admit that I'm a Bon Jovi fan, but today it's confirmed. Nice version of this song, Buddy.

Buddy, I enjoyed that. Nice mix of strumming and flat picking, not easy to do. Not bad for just a week's work! Great singing which you fitted in well with your playing (again not so easy). When you polish this up it could be a killer song for you. Thanks for sharing.

Willem,

I have the mics hooked up to an interface on the laptop. The headphones are plugged into the interface and give me the exact sound that is being recorded from the mics. With the headphones I can hear what I am playing and balance out the two mics. The headphones work like feedback speakers when you are on stage so that you can hear what the audience is hearing.

Buddy,
I agree with most of the other comments. Pretty good on the intro, tought to nail it exactly. I was going to suggest that instead of strumming all 6 strings all the time to widdle it down and focus on some base notes, maybe will provide some polish? I think your vocals are great!

Thanks for sharing your work
Mike

Bud,

I'm a little late to the party here. I thought this was really good. I really want to point out that you lightened your attack on the strings from past strumming songs. I thought on this song you strummed it very smooth on the ups and downs and, for me, it was your best strumming to date. Maybe the tempo changed a bit from time to time but that is expected when trying to sing and play at the same time. Boy do I know that now. Anyway very good job on this and thanks for sharing. I quite enjoyed this one.

Buddy,
Nice job. I agree with the others who say this song fits your style of play and voice nicely. This song should definately be on your open mic play list!

Mike, Kevin, Mark and Craig, thanks for the feedback and the encouragement. Andy, thanks for moving me on to the next round and Willem thanks for the 7.5 :-).

Jay and NFT, Glad you enjoyed it, I really like this song as well and did not really appreciate Bon Jovi until I worked on it.
