This is my first pass at doing Freight Train. And I don't usually use a thumb pick, so I am just trying it out. I am waiting for my thumb nail to grow out to a useful picking length.

I haven't studied Neil's charts yet. I only used some of his ideas from the lesson to get started, so it probably isn't exactly like he demonstrates. I will spend some more time with it.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

It is getting there , Webostick. I congratulate you on the thumb pick. I have been wanting to learn to use it, but I only have been talking, you took action.

If you just started learning that, just started using a thumb pick and haven't soaked up all of Neil' advice yet, my Gosh your performance is going to be fantastic once you feel you've reached the competency you're looking for.

That was great.

Thanks for posting.

Webostick,

For just a first pass I would say you're well on your way. Nice job.

Great Song. All guitarists should learn this song at some point. I've been workikng on it ever since Suzi posted her inspirational version. You are well on your way to playing it very well.
