Thanks so much tvarga, Catman, Bob, and Damian. I appreciate it so much.

Stuart: In all honesty, I can't say that I've given the anchoring problem my full attention, mostly because I'm able to play fairly decently with my pinky glued to the guitar. But I usually spend a little time each practice trying to play correctly. As I've said in the past, I feel a little like an astronaut whose umbilical cord has been severed. Still, I appreciate the observation and I'll keep at it.

Rick: Welcome back. We have an open-mic night in my neighborhood every Tuesday, and I'm tempted to give it a shot one of these nights. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks Dennis

ditto to what everyone has said, really enjoyed it espeacially this bit of great advice, as its very hard not to do!

"And it's always a temptation when singing to do an impression of the original singer, a temptation I always do my best to avoid."

will keep that in mind

great job
