Arrrr... that's better. I enjoyed it even more on this listen.

Wow Michele- was that a pirate's 'ARRR'??
Must have been brainwashed by the parrot on my shoulder (can't claim to be a parrot head...maybe that's a good thing).

Buddy, Anton, Mike & Rick,
Thanks for your comments.

This was kind of a put it out there song for me to show what I really need to work on-- namely being able to strum and sing at the same time. I hope to upload both progress on this song and maybe a few others as well in the future.

Cheers!

Al,
I thought you did an awesome job. Yeah maybe there are some mis-picks but it is a folk song and perfection isn't the goal, feeling is and that comes through. You can definitely play all the parts and if you record it enough times I'm sure you could make it "perfect" but I bet that would just take the enjoyment out and with it the feeling. Thanks for sharing and keep rocking.
Mike

Al,

Real nice job. I have been working on this too and was hoping to post it soon. You've given me the inspiration. Your vocals on this are perfect, Is that a Canadian thing??

Hey Al,

This was just plain awesome. I could listen to you sing all day long. Yes, there are some minor slips, but you play through them well and the joy of playing shines through. I think this song benefits from the human feel and I'd just let these iron themselves out as you continue to enjoy playing it. Great job and a real inspiration.

Not fair, its a definite advantage being Canadian singing a Canadians songs lol. Sounds like a young Neil Young at Massey... A bit more precision required on the runs , but nevertheless very credible cover mate. Bit of time with the dreaded metronome would also help, then add in the distorted Electric lead and your away laughing!

Good on ya mate.
