cavi learning to play Irish Dance corrected acoustic guitar
Cavi- very nicely done! You have that song down!
A couple of thoughts. Did you add a couple of measures to the song? I haven't played that song in a while so I could be wrong but it felt like you played an extra measure a couple of times.
This song has a real staccato attack which means you have to be make really smooth chord changes and plucking melody notes. If you play the entire song staccato it sounds choppy whereas only the main riff should sound that way. Staccato and then free flowing.
Thanks for sharing theis video and again great job! :cheer:

Hi Cavi good take on the song. I agree wirh Bear on a few extra pinches here and there (around 50 sec is an example where you hit the chord 3 times insteaad of 2)but it is no big deal as it sounds very good. You could put a bit more emphasis on the fingers playing as the base is a bit over powering the small strings (or the other way around by lower ing the bass notes volume) What kind of guitar do you play, it looks very good?

I defer to others that have tried the song- I haven't. Just enjoyed your version.
