PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.
Sixteen Tons is an old American folk song about coal miners. I picked this song because I wanted to add a folk song to my song list and I wanted to work on palm muting as well. It has a really steady beat to it that is surprisingly hard to keep up. I also like the baritone feel of the vocals as well.
Any tips to help move it along would be appreciated.

Nice song Buddy, this has a fun strumming pattern and you keep it lively and fluid. Like the voice as well, you have a good range.

Bud,
I've been singing that song since I was a kid. You've done a substantially different version from the one I know. It was pretty good. I like it.
Here is the one I was expecting

Bud,
I thought you did a real good job on this song. I wasn't sure of the song from the title but as soon as you started your vocals I knew it immediately. Your vocals really suited this song IMHO. I really enjoyed it and not sure what you need to do to improve it. It sounds good as is.
Thanks for posting
Bob

Andy,
This is the one I was trying to emulate. Isn't it terrible to be in bondage to our expectations.

Marc,
Thanks, I must admit that I was out of breath at the end of this song as it take a ton of effort for me to sing this low.

Very very well! Good work on the alternating bass-notes, wich is with a pick sometimes not thát easy to do!
By the way, we have at least two things incommon, we love animals (I have two doggy-boys of my own, but I'd also love to have cats and horses of course) and we love playing the guitar!

How low can you go, Buddy? What a range! And I was impressed with the consistent alternating bass notes.
Your version was also better than the one you were trying to emulate IMHO.
